Mechanical Refrigeration Units

Mechanical Refrigeration Units (MRU):

Mechanical Refrigeration Units chill the incoming natural gas stream using an external refrigeration system, typically propane. These refrigeration units use a compressor to boost the pressure of a refrigerant to a condensable pressure.

MRU mechanical refrigeration unit comprises a refrigeration chiller, cold separator, glycol regeneration system, and condensate stabilizer. Overall performance of these units is dictated by the composition of the gas stream, inlet and outlet pressures, and inlet temperature. The NGLs from the cold separator are stabilized and sent to pressurized storage or further fractionation.Cutter USA Mechanical Refrigeration Units are modular for simple installation, mobility and easier field installation.
